The Papplewick Volunteer Association

The Papplewick Volunteer Association is the backbone of the Pumping Station with a strong membership and a dedicated group of volunteers. The volunteers carry out a variety of engineering, maintenance, restoration and ground keeping tasks around the site and enable the Station to steam on our event weekends.

There are many different facets at the Station which you may like to volunteer and help us with and you do not have to be from an engineering background to take part! You can give as much or as little time as you like, any help you can give is much appreciated. Without volunteers we simply cannot open!
