Help save Papplewick Pumping Station

The spread of COVID-19 caused the pumping station to close in mid-March severing all income from visitor admissions and site hires until all restrictions on large group gatherings are removed; we fear that our next event may not be until Easter 2021. This threatens our future, as we receive no outside funding but face continuing overheads. Normally we are financially sound but this unforeseeable event has placed us in jeopardy. We are currently surviving on our limited reserves but we need your help to get through to next year and have set up a JustGiving page where you can make a donation. Anything you can give will be gratefully received and will ensure the survival of this important piece of industrial heritage. Thank you.

Papplewick Pumping Station is an entirely independent, accredited museum. We do not receive funding from the County Council and rely exclusively upon admission sales, grants and donations. If you would like to make a donation to the museum or are thinking of making a donation, you can rest assure that it will go towards the maintenance and upkeep of the site for future generations to enjoy. If you are a UK tax payer you can make your donation go further by downloading and completing a Gift Aid form. For every £1 you give we can claim an extra 25p from the Government. Please make cheques payable to Papplewick Pumping Station Trust.

Thank you for your support.
