We also have the option for you to apply for a volunteer role at Papplewick Pumping Station and if you complete the form on the ‘Volunteering’ page, we will collect the following information.

We ask for a little bit about you so we can ascertain whether we have any roles suitable to your skillset, hobbies or passions. Your information will then be added to our volunteer’s database and if you wish to volunteer for Papplewick Pumping Station, we will retain your information. If, however you do not wish to become volunteer or we cannot get in touch with you using the information provided, we will remove your information from our systems 12 months after receiving the initial enquiry.

If you wish to join us on one of our experience steam days, we collect the following information.
• The participants first & last name.
• Email address.
• Telephone number.
• The requested ‘Experience Steam Date’.
• Whether they wish to bring a friend or family member with them on the day..
• Any other personal information the user wishes to provide in the free type boxes, if applicable.

We will respond to your enquiry and if we can accommodate your booking on your preferred, or an alternate date, we will retain your information. If, however we cannot accommodate your booking request, or you no longer wish to attend the ‘Experience Steam’ day, or any other suitable day, we will remove your information from our systems 12 months after receiving the initial enquiry.

We will never sell your data to any third parties.

If, as determined by us, the lawful basis upon which we process your personal information changes, we will notify you about the change and any new lawful basis to be used if required. We shall stop processing your personal information if the lawful basis used is no longer relevant.
